CLIMATE

Polish climatic conditions are suitable for cultivating blueberries, except in the extreme north-west of the country. There are fruitful plantations all over Poland, including the Białystkok region. However, plantations can freeze even in the warmest regions unless the right location is chosen.

LOCATION

Blueberry bushes require a lot of sun and should therefore not be planted in shady locations, e.g. under trees. Plantations should not be established in valleys or depressions either as the cold air flowing down can freeze the bushes as well as the blossoms. Flats and elevated areas are the most suitable places.
